ToolzStack supports both local browser processing and server-side processing to ensure your files are handled securely and efficiently:

• Local Browser Processing: Where supported, files are processed directly within your browser. In these cases, the original file is not uploaded to our servers for processing.
• Secure Server Processing: Advanced operations that require extensive computational resources or specific software are transmitted securely to ToolzStack's processing infrastructure.
• Browser-First Approach: For some tools, we first attempt local browser processing and use server-side processing when local processing is unavailable, unsuitable, or unsuccessful.

3.1 Data Retention and Deletion

When files are processed on our servers, they are handled with strict security and privacy controls:

• Processing: Server-side conversions are run by automated services; we do not routinely open or review your files.
• Storage Duration: Uploaded and converted files are kept for 4 hours for standard conversions. Premium plans may keep files for up to 30 days, depending on the plan. Items you deliberately keep through account features, such as file transfers, are kept for the expiry period shown when you create them.
• Automatic Deletion: A scheduled cleanup job removes files from our servers and cloud object storage after the retention period expires. Deletion runs periodically, so removal can occur shortly after the period ends.
• No Sharing: We never share, sell, or transfer your files to third parties, except as strictly necessary to process the file or generate Share links via secure infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare R2).
• No Training: We do not use your files to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

We use third-party providers to run the service, including Cloudflare R2 for file storage, Razorpay for payment processing, Google for sign-in and Google Analytics, and Google AdSense for advertising.
