ToolzStack is a collection of free online tools for converting, compressing and working with files, plus utilities for developers. We aim to keep them easy to use and honest about how your files are handled.
Many everyday file tasks — turning a HEIC photo into a JPG, merging PDFs, shrinking a video for email, formatting JSON — do not justify installing desktop software. ToolzStack brings these tasks into the browser, processes what it can on your own device, and only uploads files when a conversion genuinely needs server-side software.
The site is funded by advertising and optional paid plans. Each tool page explains the formats involved, what to expect from the result, and how the file is processed, so you can decide whether it suits your task.
Small image and PDF jobs can run in your browser without uploading the file. Larger or more complex conversions run on our servers; time depends on file size and current load.
Files sent to our servers travel over HTTPS and are removed by an automated cleanup job. Read the Privacy Policy and Security page for the details of what is stored and for how long.

ToolzStack uses a hybrid approach. When an operation can be handled reliably on your device, we process it locally in your browser.
When a task requires software that cannot run in a browser, such as Office or video conversion, the file is uploaded over HTTPS, processed, and removed by an automated cleanup job.
